Retail & Trade Brands

Launch of AJWA Rice's own retail and trade brands - Basma, Ruzanna, Naqi, Al Mounah, Mahaseel and Mefalfal.

Edible Oils Acquisition

AJWA Rice acquires AJWA Oil, (formerly Gulf Vegetable Oil Company) based in Dammam, creating both eastern and western province operations bases and strengthening distribution and sales for both companies.

Port Services Operations

AJWA Port Services commences operation when it was awarded a 10 year lease to operate and manage the bulk handling terminal in Jeddah Islamic Port.

AJWA Grain

The valuable experience gained in commodity trading, and with its advantage of the port facilities, AJWA Grain was established to service the poultry industry of Saudi Arabia and the region, handling the Grain from source to the final delivery points of the customers.
